We bought 'Lady LOU' in June and have had a fantastic time carving the waves with her this summer. Our first ride was on a small lake in Ohio. We did fall off the first time out. Once when Sarah was at the helm, then I fell off when I was at the helm. Sarah actually stayed on. How'd that happen?!

We took our first camping trip a few weeks later. Lake Cumberland was our destination. We arrived Friday night, and set up camp. We had hot dogs roasted by the fire for dinner and for dessert, marshmellows.
Our first campsite
We woke up to a beautiful day on Saturday. We had a quick breakfast and headed to the boat ramp. Lake Cumberland is a crystal clear lake with rocky shorelines and lots of creeks and coves to explore. We spent 7 1/2 hours on the 'Doo. We only got off once to make a pit stop at Grider Hill Marina, some 40 miles away from our camp site. Trust me, that's a long way by water.

In
September, our friends Jennifer and Catherine joined us for the weekend. It was a chilly weekend too. Most of the time we had our jeans or sweats on. Brrrr!
